About Us

Our Mission

Welcome to Caring for Dementia, where our mission is to equip caregivers with essential skills and resources for navigating the complexities of dementia, a condition that remains one of the world’s most challenging and misunderstood disorders.

What we do

Our dedicated Behaviour Support Specialist is experienced in addressing diverse responsive behaviours associated with dementia. Trained extensively in non-pharmacological approaches, we have success is mitigating responsive behaviours for individuals with various high-risk responsive behaviours, and those with dual diagnoses such as: stroke and dementia, bipolar and dementia, schizophrenia and dementia, personality disorders and dementia, Parkinson’s disease and dementia, and those with physical disabilities and dementia.

In our virtual sessions, we prioritize an emotion-focused approach, tailoring care strategies to each client’s unique history, preferences, and abilities. While we do not provide medical advice or recommend specific medications or treatments, our focus is on collaboratively enhancing the caregiving experience.

Dementia’s Impact

At Caring for Dementia, we understand that dementia and responsive behaviours can impact families, adding stress to daily life.
